A proper ground-floor gathering room — low light, stone wood-burning fireplace, an oversized U-shaped leather sofa, where there’s room for everyone to get comfortable. Watch the fire and the big game — it’s the best seat in the Berkshires. The pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, arcade games, the kegerator: this is where the evening finds its rhythm without anyone having to plan it.

A hand-milled walnut bar framed in stone runs along the back wall. Two bar tables, each made by a local artisan from Claro walnut burl set in black resin — the walnut is from the mountain. A library tucked into one corner with a small shelf of board games: forgot to bring a book? Range from bedside thriller to long-afternoon novel — or an evening that doesn’t need a screen. A play nook under the stairs with a PlayStation — if you want the kids to have the controller, we’ll tell you where it’s kept. A powder room sits just off the corridor, shared with the Bunk Room.

Step outside and the fire pit is waiting — the natural end to a day on Woodruff Mountain.
